It is very hard growing vegetation on a steep hill or slope. Once the soil starts to erode it can damage property and be dangerous to walk on. Hydroseeding is a perfect application for situations where regular seeding is not possible. If not properly applied seed can begin to pool at the bottom of a steep hill or slope.
We offer erosion control products as well that are specifically engineered for providing lasting coverage and stability while the vegetation grows in creating natural stability and preventing erosion.

Eroding landscape
This is an example of eroding land that if not fixed will eventually cause a blockage in this waterway. This will cause further damage to the surrounding area and vegetation as the water will find a new route to flow.
Solution
A rock riprap was used to fix this problem. This protects soil from further erosion. The rocks will stabilize the slope that is left unstable due to eroded land or soil.
Rehabilitated landscape
The site a few weeks later showed good growth around the waterway from hydroseeding. We see no additional damage where our land was previously being eroded away.
